The Residential Owner-operated Network (#TheRON) is a concept - an expert pool - a technology stack which is built and sustained using personal resources. Each owner-operator is focusing on civic activities for their own benefit, which is the opposite of wasting resources on the benefit of "everyone". The RON call this "civic activity" and calls the rest "political, religious, intellectual activism".
